This painting explores how we are each made up of many qualities and characteristics, most of which are contradictory, but somehow work together to make us who we are. Exploring opposites on the color wheel made this painting fun to create, especially because opposites on the color wheel are called complimentary colors - no surprise, is it?!

This painting was hand-stretched by the artist in her studio on rustic, homemade stretcher bars - an experiment of sorts that turned out well enough. This small canvas is incredibly light-weight and can be easily displayed by leaning on a surface, or mounted inside a floating frame for a more polished look. This product is easy to ship thanks to the small size. Please note that the buyer is responsible for any shipping charges, but the artist will facilitate the process by obtaining quotes, packaging the product safely, and bringing it to a shipping centre at no extra cost.
